But a golf shoe startup bent on challenging curvature conventions hopes holed-up golfers will use this downtime to consider trying something a little different when they’re able to get back in the swing of things.
There’s a long history of shapeshifting products in golf, radical departures that break the mold and completely reconceive the way we experience equipment. Callaway’s original Big Bertha driver, Ping Zing irons, Odyssey’s 2-ball putter, and SuperStroke’s oversized Fatso putter grips all turned heads upon release before becoming ubiquitous.
