Players Spotlight: Young Golfers Win with SQAIRZ

Players Spotlight: Young Golfers Win with SQAIRZ

Dylan Brack

Champion at Inaugural Tiger Woods TGR Junior Invitational

Dylan is an 18-year old golfer who consistently drives 300+ yards. No doubt you’ll one day see him playing on the PGA Tour.

“I like the stability & balance that SQAIRZ gives me and if you use the ground like I do, there’s more room for your toes not to get so squashed - which makes it more comfortable.”

Dylan started playing competitively at the age of five playing many local U.S. Kids and SCPGA (Southern California PGA) Junior/Toyota Tour Cup and SDJGA (San Diego Junior Golf Association) events including competing in the Junior World Championships four times and reaching the Regional Qualifier for Drive, Chip & Putt twice.

In 2022, Dylan won the Inaugural Tiger Woods TGR Junior Invitational for boys 14-18 years old. In addition, he graduated high school two years early opting not to attend college and to pursue his golf career. In 2023, Dylan moved to ‘up’ his level of competition to the Asher Mini-Tour in order to compete against Pros and top Amateurs and to test his game - he consistently drives the ball 300+ yards which combined with a solid short game puts him in contention on a regular basis.

Golf runs in Dylan’s family. Dylan’s maternal great grandfather James Ihira (who died before he was born) was a champion golfer. Dylan’s plan since the age of seven has been to become a professional golfer, to compete on the PGA Tour, to win major tournaments and to become the best player in the world.

Liam Hooton

Champion at 2023 Optimist Tournament of Champions

Liam has spent the past 8 years playing competitive golf and is preparing for the Future Masters, Optimist International, and Pinehurst regional this year.

“I had a tendency to push my weight and roll my foot on its side. It was a constant struggle. With my first pair of SQAIRZ, the problem literally disappeared. They allow my toes to move naturally, which allows for better balance and stability.”

Although he developed a quick obsession at the age of three with putt-putt courses, Liam's mom surprised him with lessons a few months after he turned five.  She thought it was just going to be something fun to try since he loved putting so much, but little did she know it would soon become Liam's life.

Liam quickly advanced, playing six consecutive years of U.S Kids World Championships at Pinehurst. By the age of nine, he was invited into what is considered one of most prestigious junior golf tournaments, The Future Masters. He placed in the top 10 his second year and brought home a trophy.

In 2023 on his 13th birthday, he won the Optimist Tournament of Champions, one of his most memorable accomplishments to date. There is much more in store for Liam this year and beyond.

Kadee Lynn Taylor

Champion at 2023 Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour

Over the past 4 years, Kadee Lynn has played in 30 tournaments, placing in all and securing multiple wins.

"I love my SQAIRZ. They are so cute and the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn! Being smaller, I struggle with power and balance. SQAIRZ helps me with both!”

Kadee Lynn started golfing when she was two years old. She would tag along with her dad and hit balls every chance she’d get. Around age eight, she started lessons and at age nine played in her first tournament.

Over the past 4 years, Kadee Lynn has played in 30 tournaments, bringing home multiple wins. As a 7th grader, she is currently the captain of her middle school golf team and has finished top 4 in all school tournaments, including the district championship preview where she came in 4th out of 50 girls. She has goals of playing golf at the University of Texas. We can’t wait to witness Kadee continue to win big in SQAIRZ.
