Bought these as soon as they came out so, sadly, no discounts. That's the only negative.
Researched these over winter &, being an Industrial Designer, liked their design philosophy. Having tried most brands over my 46 years of golf, I've been partial to FootJoy. Unfortunately, each year, their toe boxes seem to be getting pointier & pointier causing my feet to hurt after a round. I've got a bunion on one foot so pushing the big toe inward is not a good thing.
While researching online, was concerned by several people on blogs that were complaining about poor customer service. I FOUND THIS TO BE TOTALLY FALSE & wrote this to counter what I'd read.
I called pre-sale for sizing guidance & spoke with Kyle who was terrific, patient, friendly & answered my questions. He suggested going with the same size as my last pair, FJ TourX BOAs (size 9). Ordered, received & could barely get my foot into the shoe. Called, left a voicemail, then ten minutes later, got a call from Avylyn who was also terrific. She offered to send out a 9.5 that day & emailed a pre-paid mailing label for the 9s. Got the replacements in two days but they were still too tight. Called & spoke with Avylyn again who offered to send out 10s that day. I got those a few days later & they fit great. Could feel the top of my toe against the top of the shoe, but once on the course, I never felt it again. After my first round, I noticed I'd lost a spike.
